1500 New Jersey Avenue - The Blue House

The Blue House at 1500 New Jersey Avenue is an authentic Victorian beach cottage in the heart of Cape May, a block away from the beach with an ocean view. Robert Walter Starr, who was the first Commodore of the Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May, built this historic cottage in the 1890s. It was one of the first cottages to be built on this side of the island, in "East" Cape May.

Only a 30-second walk to the beach - You can enjoy a glass of wine during sunset on the large wraparound porch or lie on the hammock and relax under the stars. Open the windows and let the sound of the ocean rock you to sleep. Go for a quick bike ride (or walk) into town. Enjoy high speed Wi-Fi in every room including 3 separate TVs with cable/DVD players for those rainy days.

As you enter the home, the first floor is the main living spaces and a half bathroom. The living room, formal dining room and kitchen. The second floor offers four bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms both located in the hallway. (Blue and yellow bathrooms). The main bathroom on this floor has a private door that opens up into what would be considered the master bedroom. On the third floor there is two more bedrooms and a bathroom with tub (pink bathroom).

There is shower and dressing area in the basement along with a separate toilet room. Outside has an enclosed outdoor shower.
