Review of The Morning Star, Unit 9
The image of The Morning Star conjures up the wonderful memories of historic Beach Avenue in Cape May before the majority of the old grand hotels disappeared. This grand beauty survived and was restored by obviously sparing no expense resulting in maintaining its beauty inside and out. The view from the front windows of Unit 9 is nothing short of breathtaking! The ocean, the sky, the beach, the birds,the dolphins and whales – OMG! And despite its age, everything works including the tall windows go up and down with ease to let the ocean breezes enter. Unlike other places we have stayed in over the years, Unit 9 came well stocked with top quality dishes, pot and pans, lots of silverware, utensils, pots and pans, etc. And maybe because it was the end of the season, but we were happy to see a very good supply of paper tolls, napkins, toilet paper, cleaning supplies – all those things you usually have to run out and buy. A wonderful home for a few days! Highly recommend trying it out!
